WILLIAM P. BRANT is a native of Jacksonville, Florida. He was admitted to The Florida Bar in 1971, and is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court, Middle District of Florida; U.S. Court of Appeals, 11th Circuit; and U.S. Tax Court. He received his B.S. in Accounting from Jacksonville University in 1968 and his law degree from the University of Florida in 1970. He is a member of the Northeast Florida Estate Planning Council, Jacksonville and American Bar Associations, and the Taxation Section of The Florida Bar. Mr. Brant concentrates his practice in the areas of Corporate, Taxation and Business Law, Mergers and Acquisitions, Wills, Estates, Trusts and Estate Planning. Mr. Brant is an approved instructor for certified public accountants for continuing professional education. He hosted a television financial planning forum and was previously featured in Money Magazine. Mr. Brant has lectured and written articles in areas of business, financial and estate planning and has been selected as one of the top ten business and tax lawyers in North Florida by the Jacksonville Business Journal. Mr. Brant was a Speaker for the National Business Institute. Mr. Brant enjoys an AV rating, preeminent 5.0 out of 5.0, from Martindale Hubbell Law Directory.
